Can I Take Vitamin D While Breastfeeding
There are many reasons to take a vitamin D supplement, but if you’re breastfeeding your baby then consider getting them this too. Breastmilk doesn’t always have enough natural sunlight through which the rays can reach and properly nourish their growing bodies so it’s important that we provide our babies with some additional sources of nutrition like cereal or other foods high in calcium as well!
We recommend 8-10 mcg daily for full term babies up until 1 year old – after which time there may need only 5/6ths Tablet Instead Of One Half For Prolonged Use.
How Much Vitamin D Drops For Newborn
Giving your baby the right supplements can make a world of difference. If you are breastfeeding, give them 5 micrograms vitamin D3 every day from birth until they are 12 months old; if using formula then have them take less than 300ml/10 ounces per day or 1 ounce (30 milliliters) maximum over that same period time-frame.
