How To Get A Longer Tongue

“The tongue is a funny thing, it’s always there but we rarely take notice of it until something happens. If you are short tongued then you probably have trouble talking or eating. Your speech may be quieted by an obstruction that makes your voice sound thinner. You may also find yourself avoiding foods that require a lot of chewing because you can’t get them all down at once.
If you want to increase the size of your tongue, you’ll need to stretch it. The best way to do this is with tongue exercises. There are many ways to perform these exercises but here I will give you some simple techniques.
Stretching your tongue up to your nose and down to your chin. Moving your tongue back and forth across the outside of your top lip. Moving your tongue back and forth across the inside of your bottom lip. Closing your mouth and moving your tongue between your right and left cheeks. Moving your tongue in and out of your mouth several times.
These exercises are very effective for increasing the size of your tongue. They work on different parts of your tongue and help build muscle strength which is needed if you wish to grow your tongue longer.
It won’t happen overnight so you should practice these tongue stretching exercises every day for three months. After that time you should see results.
When performing these exercises make sure you don’t use any kind of lubricant like saliva or Vaseline. This is important as it could cause irritation and prevent you from seeing results. Also try not to bite down hard when doing the exercise; instead just let your teeth rest lightly against your lips. It’s OK to feel pain while practicing these exercises but don’t push yourself too far. When you’re ready to move onto the next level of difficulty you should consult with your doctor before starting new activities.
Here are two more tongue stretching exercises that you can practice without using any special equipment. These are great for beginners and they are easy to learn how to do properly.
First of all stand straight up and relax your shoulders. Then place your index finger under your lower lip and hold it there. Now pinch your upper lip between your thumb and forefinger. Make sure your fingers aren’t touching each other as this would hurt them. Hold this position for thirty seconds and repeat five times. Once again keep your shoulders relaxed throughout the entire process.
Next you will need to sit on a chair and put your feet flat on the floor. Sit upright with your hands palms facing forward. Relax your body and close your eyes. With one hand still holding your lower lip, lift your head and open your mouth wide. Use your free hand to gently touch the tip of your tongue to the roof of your mouth. Do it slowly and gently five times. Repeat the same procedure with your opposite hand. Keep both heads lowered.
This exercise helps develop the muscles used to raise your tongue towards the ceiling. It’s also good for developing strong neck muscles. By strengthening those muscles you improve overall health.
Now lets go over another basic tongue stretching exercise. Here you will need to lie face down on a bed. Take your left arm behind your back and cross it over your chest. Place your left leg firmly on the ground. Lift your right arm above your head and bend it 90 degrees. While keeping your left leg on the ground, reach your right arm toward your shoulder. Touch your fingertips together. As you do this you are pressing your tongue against the floor of your mouth. Try to keep your tongue pressed against the floor of your mouth as long as possible.
Hold this position for 10-20 seconds. Repeat the sequence ten times. Next perform the same exercise with your left arm crossed over your chest and your right leg resting on the ground. Again reach your left arm toward your shoulder. Continue repeating the sequence with alternating arms and legs.
You should now be feeling better about taking control of your tongue. Remember to continue exercising regularly. In addition to tongue exercises you should also eat plenty of vegetables, fruit, whole grains and fiber rich foods. Drinking 8 glasses of water daily is helpful for maintaining proper hydration levels. Avoid smoking cigarettes and drinking alcohol.
Be aware that when you begin to practice tongue stretching exercises you may experience discomfort. Don’t quit! Just modify your technique slightly. For example if you’ve been doing your exercises lying on your stomach you should change positions to sitting up in bed or laying on your side. Be patient and stay with it. You’ll soon see your tongue getting larger and stronger.
Lets talk about why you might want to lengthen your tongue. Most people want their tongues to be bigger because they think it looks sexy. However, having a large tongue doesn’t really make a man look sexier than having a small tongue does. Bigger isn’t necessarily better.
A big tongue has its drawbacks. It leads to poor hygiene and creates problems when speaking. Some people suffer from sleep apnea due to a large tongue blocking their airway. Lengthening exercises can make breathing easier but only surgery can permanently enlarge the length of your tongue.
So what’s the point? Having a long tongue can reduce the risk of throat cancer. A long tongue allows food particles to pass through easily and prevents swallowing air. Therefore making it harder for bacteria to colonize in your throat.
In summary, tongue exercises can help strengthen your tongue and give you increased flexibility. They can also help you breathe better. Tongue exercises can help you avoid certain diseases such as throat cancers. Finally they can even lead to permanent enlargement of your tongue.
