Medical Term For Scanty Menstrual Flow

Women who are going through puberty and have not yet undergone menopause may experience a condition called oligomenorrhea. It’s when you go through more than 35 days without menstruating, which is considered excessive for most women of childbearing age since this usually occurs in their late teens up until early adulthood with the average being about 28-32 years old before they reach 38 on average time span between periods starts decreasing gradually because there’s less follicular formation taking place due to declining egg output (ovulation).
