Why Do Girls Play With Their Hair

When you’re trying to get into her pants, it can be all too easy to lose track of what works and what doesn’t. Men are notorious for doing this because we have so many options at our disposal — from verbal teasing (“that shirt looks great on you”) to physical flirting (firm handshake, lingering gaze). Women don’t have quite as many ways to make themselves more attractive — whether they want to attract men or not. So when a woman plays with her hair while speaking to you, there’s probably something going on inside her head. Here’s why.
Playing with your hair may seem like something only teenage girls do, but it actually serves an important purpose. It shows that a girl is interested in you and that she has no problem being physically affectionate. In evolutionary terms, both males and females use body language to communicate their feelings — even if those feelings aren’t sexual. For example, a man who keeps touching his chestnut brown beard when he talks to another man could be sending out a message saying “I’m really into him.” A woman who keeps brushing her long blonde locks over her face while talking to another woman could be sending out a similar message. She might also just be having a case of nerves.
On the other hand, some girls play with their hair simply to show off. They’ll tease you about how much they love their boyfriends, or complain about the way guys treat them. If a girl does that often enough, chances are, underneath all that attitude, she likes you. Just remember to keep things lighthearted when you talk to her. Don’t let her see you getting upset by her comments. Instead, try to find common ground between you two. Something as simple as agreeing that most guys are jerks should help calm down any tension. After all, what’s the point of liking someone if you can’t enjoy their company?
Girls Who Like Boys Who Like To Touch Them
There’s nothing wrong with wanting attention from the person you’re dating. But sometimes these kinds of interactions become obsessive behavior that starts to take its toll on your relationship. Unfortunately, a lot of people mistakenly believe that if a guy wants to touch a girl, then that must mean he’s sexually interested in her. This isn’t true though — a man can want to hold a pretty girl’s hand without thinking anything of it. That’s because holding hands is one of the simplest forms of physical contact. And even though it might seem silly to do it, every now and again, it helps remind us that everything we say and do matters. Holding hands is also a natural part of human interaction. We need each other to survive, after all.
So the next time you notice a girl stroking her hair back and forth across her fingers, give her a compliment instead of asking her where she got her new look. Or better yet, ask her how her day went. You never know when she’ll start telling you about her problems.
